Lunar New Year Celebration Recap

Yesterday, our inaugural Lunar New Year Celebration in Queens was a sold-out success! We were thrilled to expand our PA events to reach our families in Queens. From the Bronx Science banner at the entrance to the festive decorations, the afternoon was truly special. We are deeply grateful to our Lunar New Year Committee:

One of the highlights was a vibrant Lion Dance, a collaboration between the Bronx Science Lunar Club (Lion Dance Branch) and the Ohana Paddling Association. The performance featured two lions and a full traditional instrumental ensemble (drum, cymbals, gong) led by our own Bronx Science students who brought this powerful tradition to life.

A special thank you to our charismatic hosts and gifted student and parent performers. Their incredible talent and professionalism served as the heartbeat of the celebration, leaving our guests deeply impressed and inspired.
