How do you get to school using public transportation?

Let us know at president@bxsciencepa.org and we’ll share it with your fellow parents.

From the Upper West Side:

My favorite way to travel up to Bronx Science from my home on the Upper West Side of Manhattan is to take the 1 train uptown to 231st Street in the Bronx. Right there, on the south east corner of 231st and Broadway, I jump on the Bx10 bus. It stops right across from the school on the south west corner of Paul Avenue and 205th Street. The trip usually takes 45 minutes to an hour.

From Douglaston/Little Neck, Queens:

I usually take LIRR to Woodside where I transfer to the 7 train. Then from Grand Central, I take the 4 train all the way to Bedford Park/Lehman College stop. It takes about an hour and a half, so bring a book! (You can also take Q12 bus to Flushing and get on the 7 train there — you’re more likely to get a seat that way, too.)
