Nominations for the PA Board and SLT closed on April 23rd, and we are thrilled to present an uncontested slate of very strong candidates.
Recently, the DOE announced a waiver of Chancellor’s regulation A-660, which “Extends deadline for holding PA/PTA elections to October 31, 2020 and extends current officers’ terms until elections are held.”
For our PA, this means that our current PA board will continue to be the members of record until we are able to have an in-person vote on the motion to accept our uncontested slate of candidates. To ensure smooth PA operations, board member transitions and training will continue remotely over the summer in preparation for the coming school year.
If the school building is open, the in-person election for the positions for incoming parents will be held at the October 2020 PA meeting.
