| Dear Fellow Bronx Science Parents and Guardians,
This past Tuesday, we were thrilled to host our Annual Comedy Night at Gotham Comedy Club! Host Kunal Arora and comedians Gina Brillon, Mike Cannon, Mia Jackson and Ian Lara definitely found our funny bones! It was great fun to share both company and laughs about NYC, parenting, and marriage with those of you who were able to join us. NYC might write a lot of the jokes for us, but it takes some funny folks to turn them around so we can see them! Thank you to event chairperson and board member Ashok Eastman for organizing this sold-out success (and thanks to board members Nicole Allen and Ami Kantawala for your assistance!). | HOLIDAY PARTY/MERCHANDISE SALE/DINNER/PA MEETING!
Please mark your calendars for our next in-person PA meeting on Thursday, December 19. There will be pre-meeting festivities starting at 6:00 PM with food, swag sales and a chance for our community to come together. We are pleased to share that we will be joined at 7:00 PM by Assistant Principal of Pupil Personnel Services Andrew Nasser and a panel of students who will discuss accessing resources in our Guidance Department. We will also be joined by members of the Montefiore School Health Clinic, who will discuss the exciting program that will be established at Bronx Science this winter. In addition, that evening, the Spring Gala team will hold the drawing for the iPhone 16 Pro Raffle! The winner need not be present to win. See the Spring Gala post below for details on how to buy your raffle tickets. This is a night you won’t want to miss! NOTE: Our January and February PA meetings will be fully remote. |

Please click HERE to RSVP for the December 19 Party/Meeting! We greatly appreciate the tremendous generosity our community demonstrated on Giving Tuesday. We remind you that our Annual Giving drive is ongoing, and we encourage those who have not yet donated to do so via this link; we suggest $750 per child, but any amount that is meaningful to you is meaningful to our students. The funds raised go directly to our kids to help support activities, such as our City Champion Girls Cross Country team, Borough Champion Boys Cross Country team, our undefeated Girls Volleyball team, and our top-notch Speech and Debate team. NOTE: You can double your contribution! Please check with your employer to see if they will match your generous contribution! There will NOT be a Coffee with the Principal in December, but stay tuned for information about the next one, which will be held on January 14!
