We are ready to spring forward into one of our busiest stretches of the year! We may have lost an hour, but we aren’t missing a step as we gear up.
Coming up this week, we welcome you to school for our March PA meeting on Wednesday, March 13 at 7 PM. The PA will provide a light dinner at 6:30, and the meeting will begin at 7. This is an in-person meeting and will not be recorded. Please RSVP here. The agenda can be found here, and we will be voting on the minutes from February, which can be found here. We will also be featuring a message from our Nominating Committee about our upcoming elections on May 15, 2024. More information can be found in the posts below. We will also be presenting some bylaw changes which we will be voting on in April.
We are delighted to be welcoming the President of the Bronx Science Foundation, Eleanor Coufos, ’99 as our speaker, who will be sharing some of the summer opportunities that are available to our students thanks to the Foundation. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear about the exciting research and learning opportunities for our kids, and the many ways the Bronx Science Foundation is able to help our kids maximize their summer.

Bronx Science makes so much possible for our students. We invite you to come share the joy 
of having a Bronx Science student at the Spring Accepted Students Open House, which the school is hosting on Wednesday, March 27, at 5 PM. We need a LOT of volunteers to make this event as warm, welcoming, and informative as possible for the students who have just received offers. Please click here to volunteer. We need help with merchandise sales, transportation information, answering general questions, and serving food to our student volunteers who make these marquee events so special.
We also ask you to reflect on the Bronx Science experience when you fill out your NYC school survey, which can be found here. For more information, see the NYC Survey post. Deadline to submit is April 5, and we are counting on full participation from our families. The grade that submits the highest number of surveys will win a grade-wide prize.
