Not only do we need your support, but volunteering builds community, is fun and is a great way to meet fellow parents and guardians. Technology Team
Critical need! One of our greatest areas of need is for volunteers to join our Technology Team. In order to continue to provide a remote option for our hybrid meetings, we need at least two additional individuals to assist us. Tech Team members are primarily responsible for supporting our monthly hybrid or fully remote PA meetings, with occasional involvement in other areas. To properly assist our presenters and guest speakers, this position requires in-person attendance for the PA meetings held at school and a per-meeting team of two. However, by having multiple members on the team, we can cover all of our needs and the individual commitment for each member will be manageable. Landscape Architect
At our PA meeting this past week, we shared information about an exciting new project that is in the early stages of development. In partnership with the Bronx Science Foundation, the PA is working on plans to install an outdoor learning and gathering space for our students. We are currently exploring potential locations on campus and are seeking one or more parent volunteer(s) with a background in landscape architecture who can assist us with producing design options, renderings and a draft budget.
