Donations to the PA are tax deductible and help the school provide our children with an outstanding education.
The PA continues to fund vital online programs for the math department.
ALEKS, which stands for Assessment and LEarning in Knowledge Spaces, gives our students a specific and individualized instructional plan based on their current knowledge, assessed by using ALEKS’ diagnostic exam at the beginning of the school year. According to Math Assistant Principal Vikram Arora, “we, as a school, want to go above and beyond to ensure that our very bright students are receiving the best educational program possible, especially during this unique time.”
Albert.io is another invaluable math resource which provides a large bank of practice problems (not copyrighted by the College Board) for AP courses, SAT prep and standard high school core classes. Albert.io provides students with meaningful feedback and, according to Mr. Arora, has contributed to “an improving trend with Calculus BC, AP-Statistics and AP-Computer Science, all close to their highest levels despite a huge increase in the number of students taking these tests.”
PA dollars also recently paid for protective desktop plexiglass barriers for the guidance department.
Finally, the PA paid for an annual teacher appreciation breakfast to welcome back our teachers and staff this past week…
In order to provide funding for events and initiatives like these, the PA needs support from you. Our goal is 100% participation – every family donating some time, and/or money to our school. Thank you!
While all of the in-school volunteer opportunities are currently on hold, there are still many ways you can help the PA and the school remotely. Click here to volunteer your time or skills.
