Dear Bronx Science parents,
Thanks to those of you who supported the PA’s very successful online auction! Whether you donated items, placed bids, invited others to bid, or helped out in some other way, we thank you. (And to the winning bidders, thanks for your patience as we distribute the items. Feel free to reach out to auctiondonations@bxsciencepa.org if you have any questions.) The online auction raised a new record of more than $25,000, so we’re one-fourth of the way toward our $100,000 goal! Please help us meet that goal by coming to our live auction event on May 17 in Manhattan. More on that below.
Just a few days after the auction, on May 21, Principal Donahue will deliver her annual “State of the School” address at our PA meeting. She’ll give us an overview of how the school year went, notable accomplishments and victories, lessons learned, areas of concern, and what’s new for next year. Parents will also hear from Mr. Andrew Nasser, the head of the Guidance and College Office. This is a fantastic opportunity for Bronx Science parents not only to get the latest news about our school, but also to ask questions and engage in an important dialogue about our children’s high-school experiences. Mark your calendar for Monday, May 21. As always, Vallo will kindly provide free round-trip bus service for Manhattan and Queens parents.
We hope to see you on May 17 and May 21!
