Bronx High School of Science Parents' Assocation

Message from Our Co-Presidents – April 29, 2018

Dear Bronx Science families,

Students brought home their report cards a few days ago, which means another marking period has ended. It’s hard to believe that the school year will be over in just a few weeks! But it will be a very busy few weeks: your kids will be completing year-end research projects, studying for exams, practicing for school performances, wrapping up the spring sports season, and participating in the many school events planned for May and June. It will be a busy time for BxSci parents as well, and we hope to see many of you at school events in the final two months of the academic year. There are a few more volunteer opportunities coming up, including the Spring Open House for seventh graders (on June 6) and the Incoming Parents’ Breakfast (on June 7). Please consider volunteering for these and other events; we’ll be sending out sign-up forms soon.

For now, we’d like to remind you that it’s your last chance to bid on terrific items in our Online Auction which closes tonight, Sunday, at 10 pm. From tickets to test prep, and fun city activities to getaways near and far, you’ll find something for everyone in your family. Don’t miss out on the chance to get items at big discounts and support Bronx Science at the same time! Also, the PA’s big event is just around the corner on Thursday, May 17th, and we need lots of parent volunteers to help make it happen. Please sign up here to volunteer and enjoy “A Night Out” of mingling, eating, and bidding with the Bronx Science community!
