Hello Bronx Science Parents and Guardians:
You’ve probably heard…Parent/Teacher Conferences are this Wednesday evening (5:30-8:00pm) and Thursday afternoon (12:30-2:30pm). If you haven’t done so already, please make sure to check your teen’s grades on Pupil Path before speaking with teachers, so that you can be prepared. Also, for 9th, 10th and 11th grade parents: it’s a good idea to ask your child’s teachers if their course prepares students for the appropriate SAT2 Subject Test. These tests, which are often required by college admissions departments, can be taken in any grade, but not all Bronx Science classes have a curriculum that aligns with the subject test material.
Additionally, we need helpers both days: for the Staff Appreciation Dinner we serve to teachers before conferences begin on Wednesday, and for our PA Merchandise sales table, which will happen both days during conferences. We have some great new merchandise, and we want to sell it to you all, but we currently don’t have enough volunteers to do so.
