Have you noticed anything new on 205th Street in front of Bronx Science? Working to make the streets safer for our kids, the Bronx Science Safety Committee successfully lobbied the city to install a traffic light right in front of the school. Next time you’re there, take a look! The crosswalk lines haven’t been painted yet, but we are hopeful that the city will finish the job soon. The Safety Committee, which includes our own 10th grade parent rep, Ivette Perez, is always ready to hear from parents with questions or concerns. You can contact the committee by sending an e-mail to safetychair@bxsciencepa.org
