Dear Bronx Science Families,
Well, our children have one week under their belts in the New Year and the buzz around the halls of Bronx Science is back in full force.
Our first PA Meeting of the New Year will be on Tuesday, January 13th at 7 PM. Please make sure to join us for a very important and informative gathering. Our featured speakers will be Dr. Henry Kandler, Associate Professor of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Shun Fang Chang, Head of the Bronx Science Guidance Department. Dr. Kandler’s presentation is entitled “Adolescents Today – Stress and Mental Health”. Our children negotiate many different types of pressure every day, both academic and social. Come hear how better to understand what they are going through, as well as how to help them as parents. As usual, there is free Vallo bus service. Make sure to make your reservations by noon on Monday.
The SLT will meet on Tuesday, January 20th at 4 PM and the monthly Breakfast with the Principal will take place on Thursday, January 22nd at 8:30 AM.
