Dear Bronx Science Families,
The holiday season appears to be upon us. The PA hopes you and your family enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. One thing we can all be thankful for is that our children attend the Bronx High School of Science. We are grateful that they have this opportunity to learn and grow during these four years.
The PA held its Annual Phonathon this past week. It is our major fundraiser of the year. It couldn’t happen without the dedication of Ellen Dubin, along with her co-chair Liza Lagunoff. Many, many thanks to you and your merry band of volunteers who are noted below. For those we could not reach, please take the time to donate. The PA funds many school programs, such as PupilPath, Naviance, our athletic teams, and our college guidance office. Our goal is increased parent participation. As we have said before, no amount is too small.
There’s a new way to support Bronx Science every time you shop on Amazon!
Use the P.A.’s new Amazon link below! Add the link to your favorites and share it with family & friends via email, Facebook and Twitter, too. Here’s how it works: Just click on the Amazon link and shop! The more items ordered by the Bronx Science community, the better for the Bronx High School of Science PA! Be sure to use the Amazon link before you put in those holiday orders, and you’ll be giving Bronx Science a gift, too! Thanks for your support!
Don’t forget these upcoming events: Spirit week starts tomorrow, leading up to Wednesday’s Homecoming. The Fall play, The Diary of Anne Frank, will be performed in the auditorium on Wednesday, December 3rd at 4:00 pm, and Thursday, December 4th at 7:00 pm. The children have worked incredibly hard so come out and support them.
Remember, supporting the PA helps support our children. Have a wonderful holiday!!
