Dear Fellow Parents & Guardians:
Last week’s PA election served as yet another reminder that elections matter. We were encouraged by both the turnout and the level of parent interest in getting more deeply involved in the PA. We look forward to continuing our important work with an infusion of fresh perspectives from talented new parent leaders.
Of course, not all elections are as inspiring and free from acrimony. It’s our hope that despite the anxiety many of us are experiencing now over the upcoming national elections, there will be room for meaningful family discussions and teachable moments. Our kids have been through so much already this year. The implications of this election for their collective future are profound. And they know it. If we may, over the next few weeks and months, let’s redouble our efforts to be there for them. And, as a school community, let’s be there for each other.
