If you’re planning to do some of your holiday shopping at either Amazon or Fairway, a percentage of your purchase price can go to Bronx Science, at no additional cost to you. At both retailers, it’s very easy to designate our school as the beneficiary.
On Amazon: Simply go to smile.amazon.com (or click the AmazonSmile ad that appears near the bottom of every PA e-blast) and designate The Bronx High School of Science Parents’ Association as your charitable organization. The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible purchases.
At Fairway: Just show your Fairway Community Partners card at checkout. If you’re ordering from Fairway Catering, provide your card number when you place your order. Fairway will donate at least 3% of your purchase dollars to the PA. (Fairway Community Partners cards are available at every PA meeting, so grab one for yourself and several more for your family and friends.)
The percentages might sound small, but they add up. In just the first two months of this school year, these programs yielded more than $1,300 for the PA.
