Dear Bronx Science Parents/Guardians,
We hope all is well. This past week, our nation participated in a historic election. It seems fitting that tomorrow we will come together to observe Veterans’ Day, during which we will express our thanks to all our veterans for their service and sacrifice. We would also like to thank everyone who volunteered in their communities on Election Day this past Tuesday. Please remember that school will be closed tomorrow in observance of Veterans’ Day.
Our next Parents’ Association meeting is coming up on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 7:00 PM in person, at school. We are pleased to be welcoming Shipra Das from Compass Education, who will be sharing insights into the college application and testing process in a test optional, newly digital landscape. We strongly encourage your attendance, both to support our speaker who is giving generously of her time and to foster a better dialogue around your questions. For planning purposes, we ask that you RSVP for the meeting and share any questions you may have HERE. Our guest speaker will address the most prevalent questions during her presentation. A light dinner will be served at 6:30pm, prior to the start of the meeting.

Please remember that the Virtual “Paying for College Night” for parents/guardians and students in grades 10-12 will take place on Thursday, November 14, at 6 PM. The school will share a link prior to the event.
The next Coffee with the Principal will be held at the school on Monday, November 25, from 8:30-9:30 AM, and will feature information about accessing resources in Guidance. Please see the post below for more details and to RSVP. We are in need of two volunteers to help our hospitality team set up and clean up.
