Dear Fellow Bronx Science Parents and Guardians,
We cordially invite you to our next in-person PA meeting on Tuesday, December 13 with our featured speaker, Bronx Science Alumni Foundation VP and class of ’99 graduate, Eleanor Coufos. There will also be an opportunity to do some Bronx Science-inspired holiday shopping and a chance to win an iPhone 14 Pro. This is an event you won’t want to miss!
To kick off the evening, please join us for pre-meeting festivities starting at 6:00 PM in the gymnasium. Come grab a bite to eat and be prepared to do some shopping at our swag sale!
During the meeting, Eleanor will share her wealth of knowledge and tips on how our kids can make the most out of their summers, and this is a great opportunity for you to learn more about the Alumni Foundation.
Also, the Spring Gala committee will be drawing a winner for a new iPhone 14 Pro! Raffle tickets are limited, but it is not too late to buy your raffle tickets here. Please see the Spring Gala post below for more updates, including a call for donations for the Spring Gala Wine Pull.

Please note per Department of Education mandate, school visitors need to present photo identification and proof of COVID-19 vaccination. For those of you unable to attend in person, detaiLs for a remote option will be provided in next Sunday’s e-newsletter.

Coffee with the Principal. Eleanor will also be joining us for our second Coffee With The Principal meeting for this school year. Registration for this event has closed. For registered participants, a reminder that this meeting will be held at the school this Thursday, December 8 from 8:30-9:30 AM. This event will not be recorded. Please note per Department of Education mandate, school visitors need to present photo identification and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Virtual Parent Town Hall for High School Districts 8, 10 & 11. Superintendent Fia Davis invites our parents to discuss the state of the district, family engagement and parent leadership goals for our district, along with a Q&A session. This event will be held on Thursday, December 8 from 6-8 PM.

The PA encourages our parents to attend the virtual town hall and hopes there is broad participation from our community.
It’s hard to believe we’ve entered December and the holiday season, and we’re excited for both the December PA meeting and Coffee with the Principal. Come share some holiday cheer with the community and learn about the Bronx Science Alumni Foundation from Eleanor. This is a great time for us to come together and celebrate!
