If you’d like to help shape next year’s PA Executive Board, consider joining the Nominating Committee. It’s a group of 3 to 5 parents (to be elected at our Feb. 12 PA meeting) who will be in charge of soliciting candidates for the 2018-19 PA board. Committee members are typically senior parents, but BxSci parents from other grades are welcome as well. Please note that BxSci employees are not eligible to serve on the Nominating Committee. Also, members of the committee will not be eligible to run for any of the positions on the PA board.
Interested? Submit your name to the PA’s co-recording secretaries (corecordingsecretary@bxsciencepa.org) by Friday, Feb. 9, and the PA will get back to you with next steps. You can read more about the Nominating Committee in the PA bylaws.
