Hello Bronx Science Parents:
With only one and a half more days of actual school, it’s time for us to say goodbye!
It has been a true pleasure and honor serving as the Co-Presidents of this fabulous Parents’ Association for these past two years. We have loved getting to know so many of you, and we owe you a HUGE thanks for your generous donations of time, talent, labor, ideas, energy and money. These contributions helped to enrich the lives of Bronx Science students and made all of our PA events run smoothly. We hope that through these events you were able to forge relationships that have enhanced your experience as a Bronx Science parent. And thank you to the many parents who came to our PA meetings and participated in discussions. You make our community stronger.
We also want to offer a tremendous thank you to Dr. Donahue, Cindy Golan and Andrew Nasser. Our job was made infinitely easier by working with such a devoted Bronx Science school team, and we are grateful to you all.
And of course, a hearty CONGRATULATIONS to the families of the great Class of 2017. Your students have made us all proud, and we wish them much success and happiness in their next steps.
For the rest of you who will be returning next year, we encourage you all to get involved with the PA. Whether that means volunteering for an event or simply attending a PA meeting, the value you will receive is immeasurable; it gives you a rare opportunity to truly connect with your child’s high school experience (and we know how difficult that can be). Led by our new Co-Presidents, Elizabeth Langwith and Monica Toriello, the PA will be in excellent hands next year, and we know they are eager to hear from you.
