The NYC DOE is also spearheading new initiatives to increase student diversity in the specialized high schools. As part of this initiative, they have identified 15 middle schools across the city where Family Events will be hosted, to increase awareness and interest in the specialized high schools and in sitting for the SHSAT.
We are seeking Bronx Science parents and/or students who would be willing to join any of these events and participate in a short Q&A.
