Dear Bronx Science Families,
Well, our children have made it halfway through AP exams as another school week has come and gone. At least they’ve been enjoying many warm and sunny days.
The May PA General Meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00 pm. We will take care of some significant PA business that evening. If you are interested in becoming a member of the PA Executive Board, prior to that meeting you should submit your name to the Nominating Committee. Parents interested in being a member of the School Leadership Team should be present to put their names in for nomination. Both the Executive Board and SLT members will be voted on at the June meeting. We will also vote to approve the amended By-Laws. We will be presenting the PA budget for the 2015-16 school year. Following all that, the administration will make a “State of the School” presentation, highlighting both this past year’s events as well as plans for the future. The last two PA meetings are important so please make plans to join us for both.
On Sunday, May 17th, the Bronx Week Parade kicks off at 11:30 am. See the dedicated box below for all the information you need to participate. Let’s get out and show Bronx Science spirit for the whole borough to see!!
It’s hard to believe that only 7 weeks remain in this school year! We hope to see many of you over that time at the many events to come.
