November 9th, 2014
Dear Bronx Science Families,
After a quiet week on the PA front, we switch back in to high gear, leading up to Thanksgiving. Our next PA meeting is this Wednesday, November 12th at 7pm. It will feature an early school year progress report from our Principal, Dr. Jean Donahue. Our main presentation is an in-depth discussion of SAT and ACT testing. Our featured speakers at this time are Fernanda Meier, Director of K12 Services for the College Board here in NYC, and Scott Farber, President and Founder of A-List Education, which helps develop customized college readiness programs for students. It is a program you do not want to miss. You can also visit our many sponsors that night, all of whom provide customized tutoring services. As always, free transportation provided by Vallo from Manhattan and Queens.
On Wednesday and Thursday, November 19th and 20th, we will be holding our Annual Phonathon, one of our major fund-raising efforts. We still need volunteers for both nights, particularly on Thursday. Go to the box below and sign up to help! We need you!
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!!
