Dear Bronx Science Families,
Our school was teeming with debaters this weekend as we hosted the Big Bronx Debate, with hundreds of students from around the country. Thanks to Mr. Cruz and his crew for organizing this wonderful showcase. At the same time, thank you to all of the parents promoting Bronx Science at the Borough High School fairs around the city.
Busy weeks ahead for Bronx Science parents. Our October PA meeting is at 7:00pm this Tuesday. You won’t want to miss Kalman Chany’s talk on “Winning the College Money Game”. Please join us if you can. There is free Vallo transportation as always. The following day we open our doors to 8th graders and their parents for our Fall Open House for prospective students.
Parent volunteers are one of our most valuable assets as they both promote and assist Bronx Science events and activities. It can also be a rewarding experience for those who participate. Check the calendar and find those events which best suit your schedule. All are welcome!!
Thank you to all who have already donated to the PA. Our goal is 100% participation. We’re well on our way but avoid that November phone call and donate now.
