Dear Bronx Science Families,
Well, we are officially back in the swing of the 2014-15 school year. What a pleasure to see the terrific turnout for the first PA General Meeting of the year. And what a credit to you parents who filled out the Volunteer sheets. You can be sure we’ll be calling on you soon. The program was very informative, especially for new parents. As always, Lisa Rocchio did a splendid job helping you navigate the Pupil Path system. Thanks to Robert Moore for doing the same with the PA web pages. Dr. Donahue will continue to let you know the state of the school as we move forward. Please don’t hesitate to contact Cindy Golan with your questions. We are very proud of our tremendous Guidance Department, led by Ms. Chang, and our thanks go out to her staff for leading the very informative breakout sessions.
There are many important events on the immediate horizon which you should try to attend. The first SLT meeting of the year is on Tuesday. Parents and guardians are invited to attend as observers. For Juniors and Seniors, Fall College Night is this Tuesday. Contact Vallo Transportation for a seat on the free shuttle buses. Pertinent information regarding any of these events can be found in the specific boxes in this eblast below.
Thank you to all who have already donated to the PA. Our goal is 100% participation. We’re well on our way, but avoid that November phone call and donate now.
