Welcome Back (Almost!)
There are still three more days left to get those backpacks stocked with pencils and paper, but we wanted you to know that your Parents’ Association is all set and ready to go for this coming school year. We’ve already had a chance to greet our incoming freshman parents at orientation on August 31st. Thanks to all who came and helped make them feel welcome.
Our goal this year is to include as many parents as possible in PA events. To that end, watch your email for our weekly newsletter. It comes out every Sunday and will let you know what’s in store for the weeks ahead. This week you’ll learn how to volunteer for “Project Accepted”, about our first PA meeting, and about a new Parent Technology Committee we’re interested in forming. There is more info below about all of those items.
We hope to see you very soon at our next meeting and upcoming events. Have a wonderful Labor Day holiday and a great start to the new school year.
