Dear Bronx Science Families,
It’s officially Spring!! Well, we can only hope so after last Friday’s snow, but there’s certainly a light at the end of our winter tunnel.
Thanks to all who filled Room 131 for our PA meeting last Tuesday. And a special thanks to PA Vice-President Liza Lagunoff for organizing such an interesting and informative program.
Accepted Students Night was a resounding success with the future Class of 2019 getting their first taste of the wonderful educational opportunity that awaits them. Thanks to all the PA parents who volunteered to make it such a special night.
The SLT will have their monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 24th at 3:45pm in the Principal’s office. Parents and caregivers are invited to attend.
Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, March 26th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm, and Friday, March 27th from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. We hope every parent can take this opportunity to meet their child’s teachers. Free Vallo transportation is provided for the Thursday night conferences only. On Thursday, the PA provides dinner in the cafeteria for the administration and faculty prior to the conferences. We need volunteers from 3:00pm to 7:00pm for setup, serving, and cleanup. Should you be able to help out, go to the appropriate link below and signup.
As the days grow longer and the temperatures rise, it’s a wonderful time for us as parents to enjoy all that Bronx Science has to offer. We hope to see you at all of our upcoming events.
