The PA has two major volunteer opportunities this month.
The first is Accepted Students Night on Wednesday, March 18th from 5pm to 8pm, when hundreds of parents and accepted students visit Bronx Science for tours and a wealth of information on the terrific education they will receive here. PA volunteers will be positioned mainly in the lobby and the cafeteria to answer questions from parents and children on what awaits them here. In addition, we’ll be selling PA merchandise in the lobby.
The second is the night of Parent/Teacher conferences on Thursday, March 26th. The PA provides dinner for the faculty and administration in the cafeteria prior to the start of conferences. Volunteers are needed from 3pm to 7pm for setup, serving, and cleanup. Whatever time you can spare will be greatly appreciated.
