Dear Fellow Bronx Science Parents and Guardians,
In observation of Veterans Day yesterday, the PA would like to thank all our veterans for their service and sacrifice. We also thank everyone who volunteered on Election Day this past Tuesday.
The main highlight this upcoming week is the in-person PA meeting on Wednesday, November 15 at 7 PM. The PA welcomes back Adam Ingersoll from Compass Education, who will discuss What You Should Know About College Admissions. Adam has shared his expertise on this topic with Bronx Science for a number of years, and families are encouraged to join this thoughtful conversation on college admission testing in an ever-changing environment. We hope to see many of you in person to help facilitate better dialogue around this important topic and to support our speaker who is generously giving his time. Don’t forget to RSVP here by this Thursday, November 16 at 9 AM for the next Coffee With the Principal. This event will take place in person, at the school on Monday, November 20 at 8:30 AM, where Principal Hoyle will be joined by our Assistant Principal of Pupil Personnel Services, Andrew Nasser, to discuss accessing resources in our guidance department. We are thrilled to also hear directly from students about the services they have found helpful. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to visit Bronx Science’s Holocaust Museum.
