Dear Fellow Bronx Science Parents and Guardians,
It’s hard to believe, but we’ve reached the end of a tremendous school year. June was an event-filled month for both the PA and the school, which kept our entire community engaged and energized. Now that we’ve reached the end of the month, we can take time to reflect on the dedication and passion of our students, our teachers, our school staff, our administration, our alumni, and our engaged families. This unique school community is only possible with the passionate contributions of each of these groups.
We look back on this year with a great deal of admiration for all that our students achieved, with gratitude for the tireless dedication of our faculty, staff, and administration, and with bittersweet emotions wishing our seniors and their families all the best as they graduate. At the same time, we look forward to welcoming an incoming group of students and families in the fall and continuing to enhance our wonderful PA and school community in the 2023-24 school year.
We thank all of you for giving your time, energy, and resources this year. It all counts, and we couldn’t do it without you. We especially want to thank our outgoing Co-President, Jayesh Patel (see below for a message from Jayesh), and welcome our incoming Co-President, Jennifer Allen-Cheng.
Congratulations to our senior families, goodbye (for now) and good luck. We hope you had an unforgettable four years, and we look forward to seeing you at alumni events.
We wish everyone an enjoyable summer and we’ll see many of you in the upcoming school year.

As June comes to an end, I want to take a moment to address you one last time as Co-President of this spectacular institution.
Working on the Bronx Science PA has been an amazing experience. The many successes I’ve witnessed are a credit to the outstanding people who have worked here alongside me, including current and previous board members, parents, students, alumni, staff, supporters and so many others. Thank you for your tireless work to make the Bronx Science PA so incredibly successful. It’s been an honor and a pleasure to work with all of you.
I know all of you are as excited as I am to welcome Jennifer Allen-Cheng as my replacement as Co-President. Having had the opportunity to talk with her many times and in depth over the last few weeks, I can tell you that she’s a dynamic leader with great experience in the education field.
My special thanks to Christine and Elizabeth for a wonderful journey together.
I leave the PA in the incredibly capable hands of Christine, Elizabeth, Jennifer, and the entire Executive Board. Stay safe, be strong and have a great summer.
