Expert Panel on Teen Issues moderated by AP of Guidance, Andrew Nasser
Who is the one person most aware of what Bronx Science students are going through? We believe it might be Mr. Andrew Nasser, head of the Guidance/College Office at school. That’s why we’re thrilled that Mr. Nasser will be at our next PA meeting. He’ll be moderating a panel discussion on issues affecting BxSci students, with a focus on the following topics: technology/gaming, lack of sleep, drugs and alcohol, parent-child communication, and student stress.
The panelists will be three experts from Columbia University, Dr. Ali Mattu, the Child Mind Institute, and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Sandra Pimentel.
It’s sure to be a highly informative and insightful discussion. Parents will of course be able to ask questions during the session as well. So don’t miss our PA meeting on Thursday, March 7th, at 7pm.
