Dear Bronx Science families,
Today some of you are helping out at the Big Bronx Debate Tournament at school; others of you are volunteering at the Bronx Borough High School Fair; and still others are spending a few hours on a variety of PA-related tasks. There’s no shortage of ways to engage with our school community, and we’re glad that so many of you choose to do so.
This Wednesday evening’s PA meeting promises to be another terrific opportunity to meet Bronx Science parents, and also to gain insights that will help you help your child. You’ll hear from Principal Donahue, meet the 12 candidates for the 4 open parent-leadership positions (read their statements here), cast your ballot, and get valuable advice from “America’s college counselor,” Sara Harberson. Sara is quite familiar with our school, since she was once the UPenn admissions officer responsible for reviewing applications from BxSci students! (Read our Q&A with Sara here.)
