Dear Fellow Parents & Guardians,

We did it!

Our outstanding administration, faculty and staff, with support from the Parents’ Association, delivered a first week of instruction the way it ought to be: live and in-person. We should all be grateful for the way the school anticipated and worked through many of the challenges, and, in most respects, made a monumental task look easy. We should also be incredibly proud of our kids, who returned to school ready to learn, eager to meet friends and generally thrilled to be getting back to the joy of being young, smart and full of life in the Bronx.

As we had expected, however, not everything went smoothly. We are acutely aware of the difficulties some of our families had with problematic private bus service. Please know that we are monitoring the various issues that came into play last week, and while neither the Parents’ Association nor the school administration has authority over the bus vendors, our Transportation Information Committee has been in continuing communication with them, advising them that unacceptable performance is highly likely to lead to swift action from customers. Our hope is that the kind of improvements families saw by the end of the week will continue, as the safe, timely transportation of kids to school is our paramount concern.  We are very excited to announce that our first virtual PA meeting of the year will be held this Wednesday, September 22nd at 7:00pm.

See login and other details below. Looking forward. Keep up the good work. Go Wolverines!
