There’s a lot happening at school in early June, and we need many parents to help out. Please consider signing up as a volunteer for one or more of the events listed below. You’ll have a lot of fun! June 2, Sunday: Alumni Day
This very special event is hosted by the Bronx Science Alumni Foundation. BxSci alumni of all ages are invited, and they’ll spend the day at school reminiscing with old friends, attending a series of talks given by accomplished alumni, and hearing about what Bronx Science is like today. The PA will be selling BxSci merchandise in the lobby, and we need parents to help sell! Please sign up here.
June 5, Wednesday: Spring Open House for 7th Graders

June 6, Thursday: Incoming Parents’ Breakfast
Eighth graders who will be BxSci freshmen in the fall will be coming to school the morning of June 6th to take placement tests, and to get their ID photo taken. The PA will be hosting an informal meet-and-greet for their parents in the cafeteria. We need many volunteers to help serve breakfast, chat with incoming parents, and sell merchandise. June 10, Monday: Senior Awards
If you are a parent of a 9th, 10th, or 11th grader, please consider helping out at this event. Some seniors will be receiving awards, and their families are invited to a ceremony in the auditorium and a reception in the gym. Parent volunteers are needed to set up and serve light refreshments.
