There’s a lot happening at school in the first week of June, and we need many parents to help out. Please consider signing up as a volunteer for one or more of the events listed below. You’ll have a lot of fun! Take it from freshman parent Sue Narine, who recently said this in an email: “I have had the privilege of volunteering at a few PA events now. I’m always in awe at the energy, the warmth, the coordination and the camaraderie of the volunteers. BxSci parents are all so welcoming! Thanks for all your smiles!”This very special event is hosted by the Bronx Science Alumni Foundation. BxSci alumni of all ages are invited, and they’ll be spending the day at school reminiscing with old friends, attending a series of talks given by accomplished alumni, and hearing about what Bronx Science is like today. If you are a parent of a 9th, 10th, or 11th grader, please consider helping out at this event. Some seniors will be receiving awards, and their families are invited to a ceremony in the auditorium and a reception in the gym. Parent volunteers are needed to set up and serve light refreshments.
