Bronx High School of Science Parents' Assocation

December PA Meeting Topic: Standardized Tests

Do PSAT scores mean anything? Which types of students do better on the SAT than the ACT? Is it true that some freshmen should take SAT subject tests? Should my child self-report her AP scores to colleges? Learn the answers to these and other questions at our next PA meeting on Wednesday, December 13, at 7pm.

Standardized tests are a much-dreaded and often confusing part of high-school life. The presentation and Q&A at the meeting will be relevant to all BxSci parents, whether your child is a freshman who has taken only the PSAT (scores will be out by then!) or a senior who has already submitted college applications. There will also be a raffle for a FREE 8-session SAT or ACT prep course! So make plans now to attend the Dec. 13 PA meeting. Vallo will provide free bus service to parents; click here for information on how to reserve a bus seat.
