Bronx High School of Science Parents' Assocation

Message from our Co-Presidents: November 12, 2017

Dear Bronx Science parents,

It was wonderful seeing so many of you at school last Thursday and Friday. We hope you learned a lot during your all-too-brief (but still extremely valuable) conferences with your child’s teachers. A special thanks to the parents who volunteered to do assorted PA tasks during the conference days; click here to see some great photos!

Tomorrow (Monday, November 13) is another excellent day to visit Bronx Science, so we hope you’ve made plans to be there. It’s the first day of Open School Week, which means you can sit in on your child’s classes all day long. At 5:30pm, come to the school library for the Resource Fair for Parents, where you’ll meet tutors, test-prep companies, financial aid advisors, organizations that offer teen internships and employment opportunities, and other teen-oriented service providers. Then, enjoy some refreshments while you peruse the many FREE test-prep books available at the Book Swap. Finally, at 7pm, come to the PA meeting to hear expert parenting advice from author and psychotherapist  Sean Grover, who is back at Bronx Science by popular demand. (Vallo is offering free bus service from Manhattan and Queens to the PA meeting. Call 1-718-961-7600 to reserve a bus seat.)

See you tomorrow!
