Bronx High School of Science Parents' Assocation

Support the Students’ Hurricane Relief Efforts!

As many of you know, the S.O. Cabinet (Bronx Science’s student government) has planned a weeklong bake sale as a fundraiser to help the victims of Hurricanes Irma, Harvey, Maria, and Jose. The proceeds of the bake sale will be donated to One America Appeal, a joint appeal started by the five living former US Presidents. The bake sale was planned by the students and will be run by the students, but the Parents’ Association has agreed to sponsor it and to help out by providing one or two volunteers per day.

If you’re available from 2-4pm on a weekday this upcoming week (Oct. 16-20), please consider volunteering. It’ll be a rare opportunity for you to be at school during the school day, observe and interact with students, and help them raise money for a worthy cause. Sign up here.

If you can’t come to the bake sale but would like to make a donation, you may do so by writing a check to the Bronx Science Parents’ Association, noting “Disaster Relief Donation” on the check memo, and mailing it to school. Your donation will be included with the S.O. Cabinet’s contribution to One America Appeal.
