Bus Service Update

It is critically important that students and families understand that the PA and the school are prohibited from endorsing or recommending any transportation companies or services. Those interested in contracting for service should contact the companies for more information, and all contractual relationships will be between the companies and families. If you are considering a contract, make sure that you understand its details.

  • Compiled information such as service details and pricing, provided by vendors, can be accessed here. This data was provided as of April 30, 2021 and is subject to change. Transportation customers are advised to re-confirm accuracy of all information and data prior to signing contracts. 
  • IMPORTANT: Please respond to the Committee’s Opinion Poll, which is now open. This poll is entirely non-binding. We hope it will provide families with information about the preferences for certain companies in certain areas. Please submit your responses by 10 a.m., Monday, May 10We need your input.We will collect data at that point and will report initial results by Wednesday, May 12. The poll is here.

Citibus is brand-new name for a company with well-known veterans of BxSci and HSAS transportation at the heart of its operations: Ralph Potter, Maria Rivera and, serving as Executive Advisor, Linda DeSabato. S&J Tour & Bus Inc. has been in the transportation field for over 20 years and has worked with numerous schools on their trips. Safety is a priority and we are interested in providing busing services to Bronx Science and HSAS students and parents. Scholastic Transportation seeks information from interested families. Please use  scholasticbronxhs@gmail.com to reach the company to provide current address; previous stop utilized for pick-up and drop-off; and the number of students using the bus service at that address.
