Thank you to all of the student and parent volunteers who came out to represent our school at last weekend’s Bronx Week Parade. We were about 60 people strong, including our charming Bronx Science robots (escorted by our robotics team humans). The robots were a hit with the 5,000+ onlookers and parade participants, the cheers we chanted throughout the march were heartfelt, and we felt good to be part of the Bronx borough community. Borough President Ruben Diaz had lovely things to say about us when we arrived at his Grandstand, and we know that he appreciated us participating in the celebration of the borough.
