DESCRIPTION:The Bronx High School of Science Winter College Night: Deans and Directors Panel\, will take place at Bronx Science\, on Wednesday\, February 12th\, from 7:00-8:30 pm.  \n\n\n\nDeans/Directors from University of Chicago\, the University of Michigan\, and Vanderbilt University will speak about the following and the role each plays in the admissions process: \n\n\n\n\nAcademic Rigor\n\n\n\nStandardized Testing\n\n\n\nEssays\n\n\n\nLetters of Recommendation\n\n\n\nAssessing the value of Extra-Curricular Activities\n\n\n\nEarly Decision/Early Action\n\n\n\nWith so many similar\, highly qualified applicants what makes an applicant stand out from the crowd?\n\n\n\n\nMany of you will have questions you would like to ask. Please email your questions to the College Office (collegeoffice@bxscience.edu) by 12pm on the day of the event. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.  \n\n\n\nSophomores\, juniors\, and their parents/guardians should not miss this opportunity!
